Descripción:
The main objective of the text is to present a model to evaluate the "autonomy project", which pursues the modification of the legal-administrative structure of the State, to reconcile it with the collective human rights of the indigenous peoples. By exploring the concept of democracy and three of its expressions -really existing democracy, democracy as seen from the viewpoint of the autonomy project, and democracy as a pure concept-, the first draft of the model is constructed. By making a distinction between justice and law, the model is refined, and the relationship between autonomy and customary indigenous law is problematized.
