dc.description	This article analyzes an ordinary daily activity: getting dressed. Following the guidelines of Michel de Certeau in his texts on the invention of everyday life, eight women and five men were interviewed about how they choose what to wear, that is, the decision acts de Certeau calls micro-liberties. The analysis is carried out taking de Certeau’s theoretical criticism of Pierre Bourdieu for his alleged determinism. We maintain that, in order to understand this criticism, it is necessary to take into account the year of publication of Michel de Certeau’s texts (1980) and the texts published by Bourdieu up to that same year, since from that year onwards, one can rather speak of a convergence of the theoretical perspectives of the two social scientists. dc.description	En este artículo se analiza una actividad que se lleva a cabo todos los días: vestirse. Siguiendo los lineamientos de Michel de Certeau en sus textos sobre la invención de lo cotidiano, se entrevistó a trece personas, ocho mujeres y cinco hombres de diferentes estratos sociales, acerca de las elecciones de su vestimenta diaria, sus microlibertades como las llama de Certeau. El análisis se ubica en el contexto teórico de la crítica que hizo de Certeau a Pierre Bourdieu, a quien le reprocha asumir una postura determinista. Sostenemos que para entender esta crítica hay que fecharla, tomado en cuenta el año de publicación de los textos de Michel de Certeau, 1980, y los textos publicados por Bourdieu hasta entonces, porque a partir de ese año se puede hablar, más bien, de una convergencia de perspectivas.
