dc.description	Based on a series of photographs taken and disseminated in the social networks of collectives and Shelter-Homes between 2012 and 2016, this text discusses aspects of daily life of young Central American migrants as they pass through the southern border of Mexico. The discussion focuses on the contrasting attitudes that young people exhibit when they feel protected and accompanied either in Shelter Homes or on freight trains (The Beast), with the aim of demonstrating that, whenever possible, they make choices that allow them to exercise some control over their immigration process. This can be seen, for example, in the Hogar-Refugio La 72, which promotes respect for sexual diversity, where young people assume conflicting positions that demonstrate their will to take over their daily lives, beyond the inherent risks and limitations of the migratory transit	en-US
dc.description	A partir de una serie de fotografías tomadas y difundidas en las redes sociales de colectivos y Hogares-Refugio entre 2012 y 2016, en este texto se discuten algunos aspectos de la vida cotidiana de los jóvenes migrantes centroamericanos a su paso por la frontera sur de México. La discusión se centra en las contrastantes actitudes que los jóvenes exhiben cuando se sienten protegidos y acompañados ya sea en los Hogares-Refugio o en los trenes de carga (la bestia), con el objetivo de demostrar que, cuando les es posible, hacen elecciones que les permiten ejercer cierto control sobre su proceso migratorio. Esto se aprecia, por ejemplo, en el Hogar- Refugio La 72, que promueve el respeto a la diversidad sexual, ante lo que los jóvenes asumen posturas encontradas que demuestran la voluntad de adueñarse de su cotidianidad, más allá de los riesgos y limitaciones inherentes al tránsito migratorio	es-ES
