| dc.description | The present work is the result of the transdisciplinary combination of anthropology and psychology based on the Epistemologies of the South and the methodological approach of Participatory Action Research (investigación-acción participativa, IAP). The main objective is to provide an interpretive understanding of the myth of origin of the Chachi community from the discursive analysis, with an explanatory sense about the symbolic signifiers. The analysis includes historical and cultural factors for which different concepts and approaches of both psychology and anthropology are used, and a theoretical transversality that covers the methodological scope. The conclusions refer to the transdisciplinary articulation as a posture through which causal relationships are explained around the myth of origin and the historical processes experienced by the Chachi people. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo es resultado de la combinación transdisciplinaria entre la antropología y la psicología con una base gnoseológica fundamentada en las Epistemologías del Sur y con el enfoque metodológico de la Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP). El objetivo fundamental es brindar una comprensión interpretativa del mito de origen del pueblo Chachi a partir del análisis discursivo, con un sentido explicativo sobre los significantes simbólicos. El análisis incluye factores históricos y culturales para lo cual se utilizan distintos conceptos y enfoques tanto de la psicología como la antropología y se propone una transversalidad teórica que abarca el ámbito metodológico. Las conclusiones hacen referencia a la articulación transdisciplinar como postura a través de la cual se explican relaciones causales en torno al mito de origen y los procesos históricos vividos por el pueblo Chachi. | es-ES |
