This article discusses public management of religion in the Canadian province of Quebec, from the point of view of the links between the latter and immigrant integration policies. Some of theoretical background on the subject is presented fi rst, followed by a description of the religious landscape in Quebec, and then the milestones in the model of management of religion in its public institutions. Th e article ends with discussion of two issues illustrating some of the limitations and challenges surrounding the management of religious diversity in a context of immigration.
