| dc.description | This work exposes the results obtained in the Cerro Aterrazado Occidental of the Inca site “El Shincal de Quimivil” located south of the Tawantinsuyu (Catamarca, Argentina). On this topic, two alignments were found with respect to the sunrise, which give us important dates within the Inca calendar. The Cerro Aterrazado Occidental had been a local huaca, reason why it was covered by a zigzag-shaped wall of probable Cuzco construction. Because the Cerro Occidental had been an important ceremonial space of the site, where probably, the calendarical control of the fiestas had been carried out. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo expone los resultados obtenidos en el Cerro Aterrazado Occidental del sitio inca “El Shincal de Quimivil” (Catamarca, Argentina), ubicado al sur del Tawantinsuyu. Sobre este cerro se han encontrado dos alineaciones con respecto a la salida del Sol, que nos dan fechas importantes dentro del calendario inca. El Cerro Aterrazado Occidental habría sido una huaca local, razón por la cual fue revestido por una muralla en zigzag de probable factura cusqueña. Debido a estas propiedades, el Cerro Occidental habría sido un espacio ceremonial importante del sitio, donde probablemente se habría llevado a cabo el control calendárico de las fiestas. | es-ES |
