| dc.description | El presente artículo analiza y compara el simbolismo del ave nocturna, particularmente la lechuza, presente en los poemas “Fern Hill” y Crónica del forastero de Dylan Thomas y Jorge Teillier, respectivamente. El objetivo es reconocer similitudes y matices que permitan establecer vínculos entre la figura de la lechuza y la memoria mediante el valor simbólico de penetrar en la oscuridad y observar, con claridad, un contenido que permanece oculto en el discurrir del tiempo presente. El análisis se realiza a partir de la visión y evolución que tienen los hablantes en ambos poemas con el propósito de concluir que el valor simbólico de las lechuzas está relacionado con la memoria entendida como una forma de satisfacer el anhelo de unidad y armonía perdidos en un presente calificado negativamente. | es-ES |
| dc.description | The article analyzes and compare the symbolism of the night bird, particularly the owl, present in the poems of “Fern Hill” and Crónica del forastero of Dylan Thomas and Jorge Teillier, respectively. The objective is to identify similarities and nuances that could allow to establish links between the figure of the owl and the memory through the symbolic value of penetrate in to the darkness and observe, with clarity, a content that remain hidden during time present. The analysis is made from the speaker’s vision and changes in both poems to conclude that the symbolic value of the owls is related with the memory, understood as a form of satisfy the hankering of unity and harmony that is missing in a negatively rated present. | en-US |
