dc.description	This Working Paper presents the recall as a mechanism of direct political control, introduces to its regulation in Mexico and to the reasons why the national Supreme Court of Justice has opted to declare it unconstitutional. In order to incorporate the recall into the Mexican legal order the Federal Constitution needs to be changed. The paper gives concrete suggestions on articles which need to be added and adapted.
