dc.description The forage peanut is a plant used as animal food in crop-pasture system. Thus, the objective of this work was evaluated the forage peanut morphometry specie Arachis pintoi cv Belmonte (BRA 031828) in different development stage (dossel height of 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 cm). The parameters evaluated were: dry matter yield, branch length, average of internodes length, numbers of internodes per branch, leaves per branch and leaf/stem ratio. No differences were found in number of leaves per branch, but leaf/stem ratio was different between 5 and 30 cm and, 5 and 40 cm (P<0.05). The average of dry matter increased exponentially and branch length and internodes length increased in straight line (P<0.05). Above 10 cm no statistics difference were found between number of internodes per branch and the distance between internodes. In short, data this experiment indicated that the dossel height after 10 cm occurred by branch development and increase of distance between internodes and, even had observed changes of dry matter production according to height cut, no differences were observed in leaves per branch. en-US
dc.description O amendoim forrageiro é uma planta que pode ser utilizada como fonte alimentar para animais no sistema lavoura-pecuária. Desse modo, o objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar a morfometria do amendoim forrageiro Arachis pintoi cv Belmonte (BRA 031828) em diferentes estágios de desenvolvimento (alturas de dossel de 5, 10, 20, 30 e 40 cm) e mensurar os parâmetros referentes à matéria seca. Os parâmetros avaliados foram a oferta de matéria seca, o zomprimento total das hastes, o comprimento médio dos entrenós, o número de entrenós e folhas por haste e a relação folha/haste. Os resultados foram semelhantes para o número de folhas por haste entre as alturas do dossel, contudo a relação folha/haste diferiu entre as alturas de 5 e 30 cm e 5 e 40 cm (P<0,05). As médias de matéria seca aumentaram de forma exponencial com a altura do dossel (P<0,05). Os comprimentos das hastes e dos entrenós aumentaram de forma linear (P<0,05). Não houve diferença para o número de entrenós por haste entre as alturas de dossel acima de 10 cm. Em conclusão, os dados desse experimento indicaram que o aumento na altura do dossel após ter atingido 10 cm se dá pelo crescimento do ramo devido ao alongamento dos entrenós e, apesar da produção de matéria seca ter alterado conforme a altura de corte, não se evidenciou diferenças nos números de folhas/ramo e na relação de folha/haste conforme a altura do dossel.Morphometry of forage peanut in different development stagesThe forage peanut is a plant used as animal food in crop-pasture system.
