dc.description	The present work examines the global context of fragmentswhere Jacaratia spinosa (Aubl.) A.DC has been registeredand evaluates the structure of this species population. Theland use of seven forest fragments were analyzed throughthe use of remote sensing and field campaigns. Moreover,there have been assessments regarding population andthe results show that they are subject to the anthropogenicdisturbance, indicating a high susceptibility to local extinctionof the species if death or cutting occur because the values ofthe Absolute Density (AD) and Absolute Dominance (DoA) arevery low when compared to other phytosociological studies.	en-US
dc.description	Este trabalho analisa o contexto espacial dos fragmentos ondehouve o registro de Jacaratia spinosa (Aubl.) A.DC e avalia aestrutura populacional dessa espécie. Foram analisados setefragmentos florestais, através do uso do sensoriamento remotoe campanhas de campo. Além disso, realizaram-se avaliaçõesreferentes à população e os resultados demonstram que estaestá sujeita à ação de perturbações, principalmente antrópicas,o que indica uma alta susceptibilidade à extinção localda espécie caso ocorra morte ou corte desses indivíduos,pois os valores da Densidade Absoluta (DA) e da DominânciaAbsoluta (DoA) são valores muito baixos quando comparadoscom outros estudos fitossociológicos.	pt-BR
