| dc.description | Este texto apresenta uma breve discussão a respeito dosproblemas socioeconômicos e educacionais do Brasil, fundamentadonuma visão econômica. Discute-se o papel do modode produção capitalista, a questão das elites, bem como oatual contexto da globalização em que a nação brasileira estáinserida, relacionando-os aos problemas socioeconômicose educacionais do país e ao pensamento de conservaçãoambiental. A subordinação à economia internacional impelidaem diversos momentos da história do Brasil por interesses relacionadosàs classes nacionais e internacionais dominantes écertamente uma das responsáveis pelos problemas de carátersocioeconômico e, conseqüentemente, ambientais que sãovistos atualmente. Os preceitos éticos devem estar presentesna esfera política, econômica, educacional e ambiental, poissem estes, de pouco valem os esforços realizados no que serefere à conservação ambiental. A visão antropocêntrica deveriaser substituída por uma visão biocêntrica, fundamentadaem aspectos ecológicos, que possuem vital importância paraa manutenção do equilíbrio ambiental e, conseqüentemente,base para a sustentação da vida com padrões mínimos dequalidade para os seres humanos. | pt-BR |
