| dc.description | Being acquainted with the sports practiced in a town implies necessarily an analysis of the geographical space where these activities take place. In this sense, this study tried to check how the sports leisure spaces are portrayed in the specific literature. For this purpose, three spatial expressions of leisure in the city were analysed: the square, the park and the public school. The distinction presented in the literature, mainly the one referring to architecture and urbanism, is not enough to delimit the public spaces meant for leisure in a sports perspective. Though it is an important space of relation and symbolic exchanges regarding culture and the shapingof citizenship, conceptional constructions have not contributed to the development of sports leisure in the city. | en-US |
| dc.description | Conhecer o esporte feito na cidade implica necessariamente numa análise do espaço geográfico onde esta prática se realiza. Neste sentido, este trabalho buscou conhecer como os espaços de lazer esportivo estão configurados na literatura. Para isto, foram analisadas três expressões espaciais do lazer na cidade: a praça, o parque e a escola pública. A distinção apresentada pela literatura, principalmente aquela referente à arquitetura e ao urbanismo, não é suficiente para a demarcação dos espaços públicos destinados aolazer na perspectiva esportiva. As características morfológicas e funcionais dos espaços não auxiliam a demarcação desta modalidade de lazer. | pt-BR |
