| dc.description | The author investigates the subject-matter of stereotypes throughout this work, mainly related to sharks. To think and investigate about it, he triggers thoughts on culture, media artifacts, cinema, Cultural Studies, among others, and their causes in our subjectivities and in society. It was also necessary to think on how we human beings relate to other beings in the Animal Kingdom. What are the impacts of using human adjectives on non-human animals? The work culminates in poster analysis and synopses of Hollywood movies about sharks. It is from his sensations and impressions that the author triggers the studies carried out throughout his trajectory, always thinking about the issue of stereotype and the influence that these images have on our imagination. Finally, he presents us with on the relationships between humans and sharks, and thoughts that encourage us to play with stereotypes (such as animations), break them, erase them. | en-US |
| dc.description | O autor investiga o tema dos estereótipos ao longo deste trabalho, principalmente aqueles ligados aos tubarões. Para refletir e investigar sobre isso, ele aciona pensamentos sobre cultura, artefatos midiáticos, cinema, Estudos Culturais, entre outros, e suas implicações em nossas subjetividades e na sociedade. Fez-se necessário refletir também sobre como nós, seres humanos, nos relacionamos com os outros seres do Reino Animal. Quais são os impactos de colocarmos os nossos adjetivos - humanos - nos animais não humanos? O trabalho culmina em análises de cartazes e sinopses de filmes hollywoodianos sobre os tubarões. É a partir de suas sensações e impressões que o autor aciona os estudos feitos ao longo da sua trajetória, pensando sempre na questão do estereótipo e na influência que essas imagens possuem em nosso imaginário. Por fim, ele nos apresenta as relações entre humanos e tubarões, e pensamentos que nos instigam a brincar com os estereótipos. | pt-BR |
