| dc.description | This article objective is to argue that the strike is a collective construct, incorporating definitions, concepts, and historical variations. The intention is to investigate the strike in the world of the work, while recognizing that it also has a wider relevance. From the birth of capitalism, theoretical formulations have addressed the validity or not of the use of the strike as a weapon of the labour movement. A controversy is the use of the strike as revolutionary; capable of political victories. After particularly the Belgian and Russian, the concept of the strike as an instrument of politics was established. Strikes possess a fluid nature rendering difficult their precise characterization, but partial characterization is possible by objective consideration of the contexts. The strikes has changed over the course oftime. At the present time the concept of the political strike cannot be seen as previously, as having the ability or not to bring down the State; the concept has widened. However, despite the changes, strikes remain a fundamental tool of the working classes. As effective collective action can reveal aspects of the nature of capitalist society, so it demonstrates to the workers the limitations of democracy and the bourgeois State. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artigo visa a discutir a greve como construção coletiva, incorporando as diversas possibilidades de definições, conceitos, e objetivação histórica. A opção é perquirir agreve no mundo do trabalho, inclusive registrando que a mesma possui um espectro mais amplo. No nascedouro do capitalismo, as formulações teóricas debatem sobre a correção ou não do uso da greve como arma dos trabalhadores. Uma segunda polêmica é a defesa da greve como instrumento revolucionário, capaz de vitórias políticas. Em um terceiro momento, após particularmente as greves belgas e russas, o conceito de greve como instrumento político sefirma. As discussões consolidam consensos: não é correto pensar em tipologias estanques, haja vista a capacidade das greves em metamorfosearem-se, mas é possível caracterizá-las considerando os contextos objetivos dados. As greves e suas caracterizações têm se modificado ao longo dos anos. Na contemporaneidade o conceito de greve política não pode ser mais percebido como outrora, por ter ou não capacidade de derrubar o Estado, o conceito se ampliou. Porém, a despeito das mudanças, as greves permanecem sendo um fundamental instrumento da Classe Trabalhadora. E tal como efetivação da ação coletiva descortina oâmago da sociedade do capital, anuncia aos trabalhadores os limites da democracia e do Estado burguês. | pt-BR |
