RésuméLes entretiens collectifs incitent à conjuguer des analyses comparatives avec des approches interactionnelles. Ce faisant, ils donnent à voir de quelles façons les schèmes, qui sont aussi des dispositions sociales d’ordre cognitif et interprétatif, s’actualisent en fonction des sociabilités. Les données indiquent que si le type de schèmes mobilisés est avant tout tributaire des trajectoires sociales et varie donc peu quand le contexte change, les modes de mobilisation des schèmes présentent en revanche une plus forte sensibilité au « cadre de participation » (Goffman, 1973).AbstractHow interpretative schemas of a public problem are socially rooted and used: analysis of conversations about climate change. Focus groups encourage to combine comparative analysis with approaches paying more attention to interactions. They reveal how schemas, which also are social dispositions dealing with cognition and interpretation, express themselves according to different forms of sociability. Data show that the kind of schema which are used is merely due to social features and do not react to a change of context. At the contrary, ways schemas are used show a higher sensitivity to “participation frames” (Goffman, 1973).
