dc.description	Judgment of the International Court of Justice on 19th of November 2012, means for Nicaragua reimbursement of more than 90,000 km2 of marine territory in the Caribbean Sea. This historic event brings itself implications revolve around the development of a national geopolitical strategy that focuses on solving border problems through international law, dialogue and peace. The government of Nicaragua is strengthened internationally and externally, because after 157 years has established a vision of nation through a policy of dialogue that brings together political, economic and social sectors. This study is part of the socio-critical paradigm to pan over the interest of the Nation. What can be seen with the recent government concession granted in the restored water to U.S. Company Noble Energy for the exploration of natural gas and oil. Also the fault is allowed to exercise sovereignty that the Caribbean to further improve its outstanding combat international drug trafficking, with the support of Russia and the U.S. All of this has created optimal conditions for Nicaragua open doors to deep draft Merchant Shipping worldwide and has free access to the proposed interoceanic Grand Channel.Keywords: Geopolitics, National Sovereignty, Interventionism, unique ecological zone, continental shelf, extended platform, power politics	en-US
dc.description	El fallo de la Corte Internacional de Justicia del 19 de noviembre de 2012, significa para Nicaragua la restitución de más de 90 mil km2 de territorio marino en el Caribe. Este hecho histórico trae consigo implicaciones trascendentales que giran en torno al desarrollo de una estrategia geopolítica nacional, que apuesta por la resolución de problemas limítrofes por la vía del Derecho Internacional, el diálogo y la paz. El gobierno de Nicaragua está fortalecido a lo intento y externo, ya que después de 157 años ha logrado establecer una visión de nación, a través de una política de concertación que aglutina a sectores políticos, económicos y sociales. El presente estudio se enmarca en el paradigma socio-crítico para tener una panorámica sobre los intereses de la Nación. Lo que se puede apreciar con la reciente concesión que el gobierno otorgó, en las aguas restituidas, a la empresa norteamericana, Noble Energy, para la exploración de gas natural y petróleo. También el fallo ha permitido que Nicaragua pueda ejercer soberanía en esa zona del Caribe para seguir perfeccionando su destacado combate al narcotráfico internacional, con el apoyo de Rusia y EE.UU. Todo esto ha creado óptimas condiciones para que Nicaragua abra puertas a la marina mercante de gran calado de todo el mundo y que esta tenga libre acceso al proyectado Gran Canal Interoceánico.
