| dc.description | No presente artigo abordamos, sob a análise foucaultiana, o estudo dos processos de subjetivação como parte fundamental da gestão biopolítica neoliberal. Exploraremos, para tanto, a formação do “cuidado de si” do sujeito como eixo central da análise das práticas de (auto) governo contemporâneas. A forma como os indivíduos se preparam para a vida, adquirindo e apreendendo conhecimentos e saberes, visando administrarem-se a si mesmos. Em suma, debruçar-nos-emos sobre o extravasamento da racionalidade neoliberal, que penetra mais profundamente do que nunca na história, transformando os indivíduos em verdadeiros “homens e mulheres de negócios de si mesmos”. Agora eles não precisam apenas aumentar as suas habilidades, adquirir novas habilidades, mas transformarem-se em autênticos managersneoliberais da sua vida. Isto é, virarem empresa até as suas consequências finais, pois agora toda ação social é, em última análise, um ato comercial de marketing, propaganda e promoção do seu “capital humano”. ABSTRACTThis essay will address under the Foucaultian analysis, the study of the processes of the subjectivation as a fundamental part of the neoliberal and biopolitical management. We will therefore explore the formation of the“self care” of the subject as the central axis of the analysis and practices of contemporary self-government. We will analyse the way individuals prepare themselves for life and how those will acquire the precise knowledge to seek their own self-management. Furthermore we will study the overflow of neoliberal rationalities which penetrate in history more than ever, having as a result the transformation of individuals into authentic “business men and women of themselves”. Now they do not only seek to increase their capacities or acquire new skills, but to become real neoliberal managers of their lives. Therefore they become a company until the ultimate consequences as every social action is ultimately a commercial act about marketing, propaganda and promotion if its “human capital”.
