| dc.description | The objective of this work is to use the Peruvian case to exemplify some practical problems the redistribution policies impose. First, which can be the effectiveness of redistribution policy to increase the income of the poorest quartile of the population? Do we need to abandon redistribution because it is ineffective and it will only redistribute poverty? Second, which is the technical possibility to reach the poor? In this sense this work hast the pretension to go beyond the concrete case that it examines, the Peruvian case, to extract general conclusion of this experience. | en-US |
| dc.description | El objetivo de este trabajo es utilizar el caso peruano para ilustrar algunos problemas prácticos que plantean las políticas redistributivas. Primero, ¿cuál puede ser la efectividad de una redistribución del ingreso para aumentar los ingresos de los cuartiles pobres de la población? ¿Tenemos que abandonar toda idea de redistribución, porque hacerlo sería poco efectivo; sería sólo "redistribuir pobreza"? Segundo, ¿cuál es la posibilidad técnica de llegar a los pobres? En este sentido el trabajo tiene la pretensión de ir más allá del caso concreto que se examina, el caso peruano, para tratar de extraer ciertas conclusiones generales a luz de esta experiencia concreta. | es-ES |
