dc.description	Thirty years ago the First National Meeting of Black Women took place in the city of Valença-RJ. It was the year of the centenary of abolition, which served as a motto for debates in different parts of the country about the condition of blacks. Several collectives of black women, which had been organized since the 1970s in the midst of feminist effervescence and anti-racist struggle, claimed their agenda. From where no one expected, a new social movement emerged, with its own claims, giving way to a political conscience, whose protagonists, at once, in a single and twisted process, opened the three contradictions that structure society: patriarchy-capitalism-racism.	en-US
dc.description	Há 30 anos acontecia o I Encontro Nacional de Mulheres Negras na cidade de Valença-RJ. Era o ano do centenário da abolição, que serviu como mote para debates, em diferentes partes do país, sobre a condição de negros e negras. Vários Coletivos de mulheres negras, que se organizavam desde os anos 1970 no bojo da efervescência feminista e da luta antirracista, reivindicaram suas pautas. De onde ninguém esperava, surgia um novo movimento social, com reivindicações próprias, dando passagem a uma consciência política, cujas protagonistas, de uma só vez, num único e enovelado processo, escancaravam as três contradições que estruturam a sociedade: patriarcado-capitalismo-racismo.	pt-BR
