| dc.description | En este artículo1 nos proponemos realizar una exploración preliminar sobre la presencia y jerarquía de la figura didáctica orientación (o tutoría) en la tradición universitaria. Entendemos que los elementos constitutivos de la orientación refieren a una particular relación saber-conocimiento y a un componente “vincular” en la relación orientador-orientando. ¿Qué concepción de enseñanza dio lugar a la figura orientación con el surgimiento de la universidad? Dicha figura, ¿sigue siendo utilizada hoy en la enseñanza universitaria? PRELIMINARY ENQUIRIES INTO THE FIGURE OF THE TUTOR IN UNIVERSITY TEACHING Abstract The aim of this article is to conduct a preliminary exploration of the existence and hierarchical positioning of tutoring in university tradition. It is understood that tutoring refers to a particular relationship to cognizance/knowledge and to a bonding component in the relationship tutor-tutee. What concept of teaching gave rise to the figure of the tutor alongside the emergence of universities? Is this figure still used in university teaching?
