| dc.description | This article aims to reflect on the challenges and potential of heritage education in the context of the Federal District from a sociomuseological perspective. Considering that memory is the foundation for the construction of social identity and that this process is permanently redefined in the dialogical relationship with the other, heritage and museums are important instruments to reestablish these dialogues of diversity. In the face of museums and cultural spaces that reiterate the consecrated discourse about the construction of Brasilia, privileging specific names and facts, how to effectively enforce the relationship between heritage, identity and citizenship? I seek through experience as an educator in a cultural space to reflect on perceptions, potentialities and approaches that aim to overcome the unique history including other voices in this relationship in view of an education for autonomy and cultural democratization. | dc.description | Este artigo tem como objetivo tecer algumas reflexões sobre desafios e potencialidades da educação patrimonial no contexto do Distrito Federal a partir de uma perspectiva sociomuseológica. Considerando que a memória é fundamento para a construção da identidade social e que este processo se redefine permanentemente na relação dialógica com o outro, os patrimônios e museus são importantes instrumentos para restabelecer estes diálogos da diversidade. Diante de museus e espaços culturais que reiteram o discurso consagrado a respeito da construção de Brasília, privilegiando nomes e fatos específicos, como fazer valer a relação patrimônio, identidade e cidadania efetivamente? Busco, por meio da experiência como educadora em espaço cultural, refletir sobre percepções, potencialidades e abordagens que visem a superar a história única, incluindo outras vozes nesta relação em vista de uma educação para autonomia e para a democratização cultural.
