dc.description	The article presents a case study carried out by a direct participant in the gestation and management experience of the Football Museum in São Paulo, Brazil. It is also the presentation of existing opportunities in the interrelation between curation, museography and architecture at the service of the educational process. The text begins by pointing out the importance of football in the feeling of belonging of the Brazilians, an originally elitist sport that was appropriated and subverted by the popular sectors. Advances by presenting the structure of this "word museum" that seeks to tell the story of the twentieth century through the Brazilian national passion for this sport. It reviews the various rooms, features and services, from its physical structure to educational work, including the possibilities of interaction between the architectural project and the street and the Pacaembu stadium, a historical heritage. dc.description	O artigo apresenta um estudo de caso realizado por um partícipe direto da experiência de gestação e gestão do Museu do Futebol em São Paulo, no Brasil. É também a apresentação das possibilidades existentes na interrelação entre curadoria, museografia e arquitetura ao serviço do processo educativo. O texto principia apontando a importância do futebol no sentimento de pertencimento dos brasileiros, esporte originalmente elitista e que foi apropriado e subvertido pelos setores populares. Avança por apresentar a estruturação desse “museu da palavra” que busca contar a história do século XX brasileiros através da paixão nacional por esse esporte. Passa em revista as diversas salas, características e serviços, desde sua estrutura física ao trabalho educativo, apontando inclusive as possibilidades de interação do projeto arquitetônico com a rua e com o estádio do Pacaembu, um patrimônio histórico.
