Este escrito da cuenta del despliegue de pactos patriarcales -entre funcionarios de instituciones de justicia y ciertos actores sociales- como un mecanismo de reproducción, impunidad y ocultamiento de la violencia feminicida estructural e interpersonal en Chiapas, México, lo cual favorece la invisibilización y el subregistro del feminicidio. Dicho mecanismo se observa en el caso de Francisca Flor de la Cruz Hernández, una indígena tsotsil que en 2018 fue arbitrariamente acusada del homicidio -a pesar de contar con características de feminicidio- de su sobrina Esther.
