| dc.description | After the 1980 conference on the thought of Carl Schmitt, it has become clear that any attempt to think politics beyond the State framework –which is irremediably in crisis– must go through its work and, simultaneously, go “beyond it”. Therefore, this article proposes a double operation consisting, on the one hand, in underlining the relevance of the Schmittian reflection for the understanding of the logic and, at the same time, the limits of the modern form of politics and, on the other hand, in offering certain categories to rethink politics in a new way –beyond Schmitt–, based on the aporias that characterize democracy as it is conceived within the horizon of modern sovereignty. | en-US |
| dc.description | Tras el congreso de 1980 consagrado al pensamiento de Carl Schmitt, ha quedado claro que todo intento por pensar la política más allá de la forma-Estado –irremediablemente en crisis– debe atravesar su trabajo y, simultáneamente, ir “más allá de él”. El presente artículo se propone, entonces, una doble operación que consiste, por una parte, en subrayar la relevancia de la reflexión schmittiana para comprender la lógica y, al mismo tiempo, los límites teóricos y prácticos de la forma política moderna y, por otra, en ofrecer ciertas categorías para poder repensar la política de un nuevo modo –más allá de Schmitt–, sobre la base de las aporías que caracterizan a la democracia tal y como ella es concebida en el horizonte de la soberanía moderna. | es-ES |
