dc.description	In this text we will try to explain not only the origins of “Conciliar Thought” but also some of the most important ideas on the role of the general council in the constitutional structure of the Church in the years immediately after the Schism of 1378. At the same time, we will try to analyze how and in what sense the “conciliar” ecclesiology has been recovered and used by the History of Political Thought. Finally, we will study three conceptual problems related to “Conciliar Thought”: the medieval corporations and its historiography, the exception as juridical, theological and political problem and the use of the term repraesentation within the context of the Council of Constance.	en-US
dc.description	En este texto se intentará explicar los orígenes del “conciliarismo” así  como también algunas de las más importantes reflexiones en torno al papel del concilio general dentro de la estructura constitucional de la Iglesia en los años inmediatamente posteriores al Cisma de 1378. Al mismo tiempo, se buscará analizar de qué modo la eclesiología conciliar ha sido recogida por la historia del pensamiento político y cuál ha sido la importancia e influencia para este. Finalmente, se abordarán tres problemas conceptuales ligados al pensamiento conciliar: el pensamiento corporativo medieval y su contexto historiográfico, la excepción como problema jurídico, teológico y político, y la utilización del término repraesentatio dentro del contexto del Concilio de Constanza	es-ES
