Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo comprender la apropiación del territorio a partir de economías locales, en este caso el eco-etnoturismo en el municipio de Mocoa y Puerto Caicedo Putumayo. Este estudio se llevó a cabo a partir del paradigma interpretativo, con enfoque cualitativo y diseño fenomenológico, la recolección de la información se realizó por medio de entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a 10 personas entre turistas, comerciantes y guías del centro ecoturístico Econawa y el centro Etnoturístico Maitus Wasi. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron comprender que el eco-etnoturismo local surge como una iniciativa impulsada por diversos actores sociales, incluyendo las comunidades indígenas, estas actividades han generado impactos positivos y negativos dentro de la conservación del medio ambiente, la ancestralidad y el desarrollo económico dentro del territorio.This research aimed to understand the appropriation of the territory based on local economies, in this case eco-ethnotourism in the municipality of Mocoa and Puerto Caicedo Putumayo. This study was carried out based on the interpretive paradigm, with a qualitative approach and phenomenological design. The information was collected through semi-structured interviews with 10 people, including tourists, merchants and guides from the Econawa ecotourism center and the Maitus ethnotourism center. Wasi. The results obtained allowed us to understand that local eco-ethnotourism emerges as an initiative promoted by various social actors, including indigenous communities, these activities have generated positive and negative impacts within the conservation of the environment, ancestrality and economic development within the territory.
