| dc.description | Este artículo investigativo se centra en el análisis de las condiciones socioculturales que se constituyen una barrera de acceso a la educación superior de los jóvenes rurales de la vereda la Sierrita, del municipio de Giraldo Antioquia, siendo importante identificar las que están presentes dentro de la población y por ende prevalecen o impactan a los jóvenes rurales, es por ello que se describe cada una de las percepciones que tienen ellos frente a las posibilidades de acceso a la educación superior, permitiendo así reflexionar sobre la forma como estas condiciones socioculturales se consideran una barrera de acceso frente al tema de la formación superior, lo que facilitó darle respuesta a la pregunta de investigación planteada. La metodología implementada tuvo como base el paradigma interpretativo, enfoque cualitativo y como método la etnografía, la técnica utilizada en este proceso fue la entrevista semiestructurada con una muestra no probabilística, facilitando la recolección de información acorde a las categorías y subcategorías de análisis. Los resultados evidencian diferentes patrones culturales como el tema del machismo y la religión, que impactan en la vida personal y colectiva de los jóvenes de la vereda, por otra parte, la mayoría de las barreras están asociadas a aspectos económicos, sociales y estructurales. | |
| dc.description | This research article focuses on analyzing the sociocultural conditions that constitute barriers to accessing higher education for rural youth in the village of La Sierrita, in the municipality of Giraldo, Antioquia. It's important to identify those conditions present within the population and their prevailing or impacting effects on rural youth. Therefore, we describe each of the perceptions they hold regarding access to higher education. This allows us to reflect on how these sociocultural conditions act as barriers to higher education access, aiding in answering the research question. The methodology employed was based on the interpretative paradigm, utilizing a qualitative approach and ethnography as a method. The technique used in this process was semi-structured interviews with a non-probabilistic sample, facilitating information collection according to the categories and subcategories of analysis and enabling the fulfillment of the proposed objectives. The results reveal various cultural patterns such as sexism and religion, which impact the personal and collective lives of the village's youth. Additionally, most of the barriers identified are associated with economic, social, and structural aspects. | |
