| dc.description | La encuesta “Percepción de la población sobre los aportes de las comunidades costeras al país y retos que enfrentan actualmente” estuvo a cargo del equipo investigador del Programa Interdisciplinario Costero del Instituto de Estudios Sociales en Población (IDESPO) de la Universidad Nacional (UNA). A pesar de sus problemáticas multifactoriales, estas comunidades costeras poseen una gran riqueza sociocultural y ambiental que van diversificándose según el territorio en donde están ubicadas. Se reconocen múltiples esfuerzos por parte de las comunidades y sus organizaciones por alcanzar algún tipo de bienestar social en armonía con la naturaleza de la mano con otros actores sociales que se han venido sumando a sus agendas de trabajo. En este esfuerzo por alcanzar su reconocimiento, el PIC impulsó el desarrollo de la presente encuesta, de manera que permita hacer visible tanto, las problemáticas que afectan a estas personas, como el aporte que sus comunidades hacen al país mediante su presencia, convivencia y trabajo en las costas. Este estudio se levantó en el Centro Tecnológico de Investigación Social (CETIS) del IDESPO, mediante la vía telefónica del 14 al 18 y del 21 al 23 de noviembre de 2022, bajo la supervisión de su personal altamente calificado. | dc.description | The survey "Perception of the population on the contributions of coastal communities to the country and the challenges they currently face" was conducted by the research team of the Programa Interdisciplinario Costero of the Instituto de Estudios Sociales en Población (IDESPO) of the Universidad Nacional (UNA). Despite their multifactorial problems, these coastal communities possess a great sociocultural and environmental richness that diversifies according to the territory where they are located. Multiple efforts have been made by the communities and their organizations to achieve some type of social welfare in harmony with nature, hand in hand with other social actors who have been joining their work agendas. In this effort to achieve their recognition, the PIC promoted the development of this survey, in order to make visible both the problems that affect these people and the contribution that their communities make to the country through their presence, coexistence and work on the coasts. This study was conducted at the IDESPO's Centro Tecnológico de Investigación Social (CETIS), by telephone from November 14 to 18 and from November 21 to 23, 2022, under the supervision of its highly qualified personnel.
