| dc.description | La encuesta “Migración, cultura política e intención de voto en las elecciones nacionales 2022”, se levantó en el Centro Tecnológico de Investigación Social (CETIS) del IDESPO, vía telefónica los días 1-5, 8-12, 15-20 y 23 del mes de noviembre de 2021, bajo la supervisión del personal del CETIS1 y a cargo de los equipos investigadores del Programa Umbral Político y del Programa Migraciones Cambio Social e Identidades, ambos del IDESPO de la Universidad Nacional (UNA). El objetivo fue estudiar las percepciones de la población costarricense acerca de la intención de voto y el perfil del votante, y su grado de indecisión de cara a las elecciones presidenciales en Costa Rica para el periodo 2022-2026, así como, sus percepciones en factores asociados al voto, el panorama nacional y movimientos migratorios internos y en el exterior para ejercer este derecho; todos tomados en consideración al momento de la recolección de los datos. El cuestionario empleado para este estudio estuvo conformado por 29 preguntas, asociadas a las variables con las temáticas de interés antes mencionadas; al mismo tiempo, a algunas variables sociodemográficas como sexo, edad, nivel de escolaridad, y la percepción de la condición económica del hogar, las que permiten describir las características de la población encuestada. | |
| dc.description | The survey "Migration, political culture and voting intention in the 2022 national elections", was collected in the Technological Center for Social Research (CETIS) of IDESPO, by telephone, the days 1-5, 8-12, 15-20 and 23 of November 2021, under the supervision of CETIS1 staff and in charge of the research teams of the Political Threshold Program and the Migrations Program Social Change and Identities, both from IDESPO of the National University (UNA). The objective was to study the perceptions of the Costa Rican population about the intention to vote and the profile of the voter, and their degree of indecision in the face of the presidential elections in Costa Rica for the period 2022-2026, as well as their perceptions on factors associated with voting, the outlook national and internal and foreign migratory movements to exercise this right; all taken in consideration at the time of data collection. The questionnaire used for this study consisted of 29 questions, associated with the variables with the aforementioned topics of interest; at the same time, to some variables sociodemographic such as sex, age, level of education, and perception of economic condition of the household, which allow describing the characteristics of the surveyed population. | |
