dc.description	This article to analyze the resistance practices of individuals and groups that, without access to State reparation programs, decided to stay in territories of armed confrontation between the FARC-EP and the paramilitaries (1998-2004); practices that allowed them to survive, process the effects of those experiences on their mental health and establish a critical position in the face of the abandonment of the State and the actions of the violent. The method was a case study with a rural population, belonging to the East of Antioquia state, using interview instruments, participatory observation and documentary review. Among the results, there are three that deserve to be mentioned: a) the rural population that has remained in territories of intense and prolonged armed confrontation built a form of daily, individual resistance, of a subtle and hidden nature, b) they also achieved forms of resistance in the collective, directly confronting the armed actors to protect themselves jointly, c) despite the suffering and losses caused by the armed conflict, the pain did not paralyze their existence, on contrary, they demonstrate a capacity for agency and the possibility of mobilize in the face of suffering.	en-US
dc.description	El presente artículo analiza las prácticas de resistencia de personas y colectivos que, sin acceso a programas de reparación del Estado, decidieron quedarse en territorios de confrontación armada entre las FARC-EP y los paramilitares (1998-2004); prácticas que les permitieron sobrevivir, tramitar efectos de esas experiencias en su salud mental y establecer una posición crítica frente al abandono del Estado y el accionar de los violentos. El método fue un estudio de caso con población rural perteneciente al Oriente Antioqueño Colombiano, usando instrumentos de entrevistas, observación participativa y revisión documental. Entre los resultados, hay tres que merecen ser citados: a) la población rural que ha permanecido en territorios de intensa y prolongada confrontación armada construyó una forma de resistir cotidiana, individual, de carácter sutil y oculto, b) también lograron formas de resistir en lo colectivo, confrontando de manera directa los actores armados para protegerse conjuntamente, c) a pesar del sufrimiento y las pérdidas causadas por el conflicto armado, el dolor no paralizó su existencia, por el contrario, ellos demuestran una capacidad de agencia y la posibilidad de movilizarse ante el sufrimiento.	es-ES
