dc.description	Este ensayo aborda un tema del proyecto de investigación realizado durante el período 2018-2021. El Congreso Afro-Brasileño de Recife (1934) inauguró otro espacio de discusión pública sobre la contribución africana a la formación de la nación brasileña. Gilberto Freyre coordinó este evento. En ese período republicano, conocido como la Era Vargas, hubo un cambio en el tratamiento del tema mestizaje, transitando de una visión peyorativa y racista a una perspectiva de tolerancia como un valor de la identidad y de la nacionalidad brasileña. Al mismo tiempo, continuaba la discusión sobre la construcción de las identidades colectivas de las/os sujetas/os negras/os. Abordaremos ¿cómo se articularon en las sesiones de debate del Congreso de Recife los discursos y narrativas sobre la actualidad de la población negra y sus aportes a la formación nacional de Brasil? Sobre esa base, focalizando en la construcción de un campo del saber, analizaremos algunas ponencias desde varias áreas de conocimiento.	es
dc.description	This essay addresses a theme of the research project conducted during the period 2018-2021. The Afro-Brazilian Congress of Recife (1934) inaugurated another space for public discussion on the African contribution to the formation of the Brazilian nation. Gilberto Freyre coordinated this event. In this republican period, known as the Vargas Era, there was a change in the treatment of the theme of miscegenation, moving from a pejorative and racist vision to a perspective of tolerance as a value of Brazilian identity and nationality. At the same time, the discussion on the construction of collective identities of black subjects continued. We will address how the discourses and narratives on the actuality of the black population and its contributions to the national formation of Brazil were articulated in the debate sessions of the Recife Congress. On this basis, focusing on the construction of a field of knowledge, we will analyze some papers from various areas of knowledge.	en
