dc.description	Scientific advances in artificial intelligence (AI) are significant. These range from robotics, through medicine to legal science, which is the science that concerns us. This paper be on questions related to patent law, specifically on the possibility that an artificial intelligence system can be recognized as an inventor. For this, artificial intelligence will be described and the legal effects of the inventive capacity of artificial intelligence will be examined and finally the recognition granted by Nicaraguan legislation to the inventive capacity and the right to patent artificial intelligence as a subject of law. To achieve the stated objectives and build scientific knowledge, a methodology has been drawn up according to a theoretical investigation, applying certain methods to generate knowledge from the integration of the analysis of the legal system, concepts, principles, statements and the norm itself.The legal historical method will be applied to learn about the institution and how it has developed over time. It will be opportune to apply the method of comparative law, to learn about the experiences of some countries such as Spain and the United States that are ahead on the subject and have more tradition. Finally, it will be necessary to implement the systemic method, for the study of the parts that make up the Patent law in Nicaragua, to determine if the application of rights protection for artificial intelligence is legally possible.	en-US
dc.description	Los avances científicos en materia de inteligencia artificial (en adelante IA), son significativos. Estos van desde robótica, pasando por medicina hasta llegar a la ciencia jurídica que es la ciencia que nos ocupa. Este estudio se enfoca en las interrogantes relativas al derecho de patentes, puntualmente en la posibilidad de que un sistema de inteligencia artificial pueda reconocérsele como inventor. Para ello, se describe la inteligencia artificial y se examinarán los efectos jurídicos de la capacidad inventiva de la IA, y por último se establecerá el reconocimiento que otorga la legislación nicaragüense a la capacidad inventiva y el derecho a patentar de la IA como sujeto de derecho. Se ha trazado una metodología acorde a una investigación teórica, aplicando determinados métodos para generar conocimiento a partir de la integración del análisis del ordenamiento jurídico, conceptos, principios, enunciados y la norma misma.  Se aplica el método histórico jurídico, para conocer la institución y cómo se ha desarrollado en el tiempo. Se aplica el método de derecho comparado, para conocer las experiencias de algunos países como España y Estados Unidos, que cuentan con más tradición. Por último, se aplica el método sistémico, para el estudio de las partes que integran el derecho de patente en Nicaragua, para determinar si jurídicamente es posible la aplicación de protección de derechos para la inteligencia artificial.	es-ES
