dc.description	The aim of this article revolves around the identification of the alleged dangers that the weighting procedure would entail and if indeed these hazards are due to weighting own or if instead derived from the intentions of the legal operator. This problem reflects the central question of this article: are the dangers of internal weighting structure or rather external to it? The thesis will be developed in subsequent is that the dangers of weighting are external to it and depend on the subjectivity of the legal operator, in some cases, not looking necessarily direct their argument towards a correction of justice, but interests or personal circumstances. The article will address therefore the main criticisms of the weighting procedure as rational interpretation of rules as a matter of principle, that is, fundamental rights and collective goods. dc.description	El objetivo del presente artículo gira en torno a la identificación de los supuestos peligros que el procedimiento de ponderación acarrearía y si en efecto dichos peligros se deben a la propia ponderación o si por el contrario se derivan de las intenciones del operador jurídico. Esta problemática refleja la pregunta central del presente artículo: ¿son los peligros de la ponderación internos a su estructura o más bien externos a ella? La tesis que será desarrollada en lo subsiguiente consiste en que los peligros de la ponderación son externos a ella y dependen de la subjetividad del operador jurídico que, en algunos casos, no busca necesariamente orientar su argumentación hacia una corrección de justicia, sino a intereses o circunstancias personales. El artículo abordará, por tanto, las principales críticas dirigidas contra la ponderación como procedimiento racional de interpretación de normas con carácter de principios, es decir, derechos fundamentales y bienes colectiv	es
