dc.description	In this essay, we aim to interpret the ‘handkerchief’ as a political device, as well as its most recent displacements: from the white handkerchief of the Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo (Madres y Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo), through the green handkerchief of the National Campaign for the Right to a Safe, Free and Legal Abortion (Campaña Nacional por el Derecho al Aborto Legal, Seguro y Gratuito), to the light blue handkerchief of anti-sexual rights organizations. In particular, we look at the implications of these (counter)citational and intertextual shifts, in relation to street politics and disputes over the right to life and the meanings attributed to maternity, kinship and gender roles, among other issues.	en-US
dc.description	En este ensayo proponemos una interpretación del pañuelo como artefacto político y sus desplazamientos más recientes: desde el pañuelo blanco de las Madres y Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, pasando por el verde de la Campaña Nacional por el Derecho al Aborto Legal, Seguro y Gratuito, hasta el pañuelo celeste de los grupos antiderechos sexuales y (no) reproductivos. En particular, atendemos a las implicancias de esas derivas (contra)citacionales e intertextuales, en relación con una política de la calle y con las disputas en torno del derecho a la vida y los sentidos atribuidos a la maternidad, el parentesco y los roles sexo-genéricos, entre otras cuestiones.	es-ES
