| dc.description | In this article we propose to reflect on the ontological and epistemological assumptions that support the concepts of body in archeology. The intention of this work is to observe how these conceptions could materialize in the historical-archaeological record (architecture, human remains and material objects), in order to broaden the theoretical-methodological view of the Industrial Archaeological Anthropology of mining contexts in Argentina. In this sense, we intend to synthesize the corpus of theoretical information related to the conception of the body (material and human) to understand the processes of spatial and symbolic inequality in the lifestyles of workers in mining contexts of the 19th century. We consider it necessary to clarify that what is presented below are mere hypothetical (and ideal) interpretations of the potential archaeological record of mining sites in southern republican contexts. | en-US |
| dc.description | En este artículo nos proponemos reflexionar sobre los supuestos ontológicos y epistemológicos que sustentan las concepciones de cuerpo/s en arqueología. La intención de este trabajo es observar cómo estas concepciones podrían materializarse en el registro histórico-arqueológico (arquitectura, restos humanos y objetos materiales), a los fines de ampliar la mirada teórico-metodológica de la Antropología Arqueológica Industrial de contextos mineros en Argentina. En este sentido, pretendemos sintetizar el corpus de información teórica relativa a la concepción del cuerpo (material y humano) para comprender los procesos de desigualdad espacial y simbólica en los modos de vida de los/as trabajadores/as en contextos mineros del siglo XIX.
