| dc.description | Terrorism is one of the most important phenomena in the political agendas of Western states in the last two decades; its constant media appearance, arises fear of attacks by extremist groups and creates the need to establish control policies that minimize its impact or, if possible, even prevent its existence. The present article aims to reflect on the dynamics of terror in political discourses, trying to understand the political problems of some social sectors that are critical of the established order and the repressive response of the states in the fight against terrorism. To do this, the present work will establish a dialogue with authors of the Frankfort School and thinkers such as Rancière, Žižek and Sousa Santos. | en-US |
| dc.description | El terrorismo es uno de los puntos más importantes en las agendas políticas de los Estados occidentales a lo largo de las últimas dos décadas; su aparición mediática constante hace pensar que la amenaza de grupos extremistas está a las puertas de cualquier sociedad y que, por tanto, se hace necesario establecer políticas de control que minimicen su impacto o, de ser posible, su aparición. El presente artículo tiene por objetivo reflexionar sobre el papel del terror en el discurso político, para intentar comprender la encrucijada en la que se encuentran algunos sectores sociales que se erigen como críticos del orden establecido y la respuesta represiva de los Estados cuando se lanzan a la lucha contra el terrorismo. | es-ES |
