Avaliar a distribuição do gasto público com saúde é importante para embasar o planejamento da oferta das ações e serviços de saúde, permitindo que a sua alocação seja realizada de forma maximizar o atendimento das demandas da população. Objetivou-se avaliar a distribuição do gasto público com saúde (GPS) nos municípios do estado do Amazonas, no período 2013-2018. A análise foi feita por meio da avaliação da distribuição do gasto público com saúde per capita, da relação entre o gasto público com saúde e a renda gerada nos municípios e da evolução do gasto público diante do crescimento populacional Constatou-se um cenário de desigualdade na distribuição do GPS tanto na distribuição por município, quanto na distribuição por Região de Saúde. A tendência do gasto público divergiu entre os municípios, sendo os de maior porte os que tiveram a maior participação no GPS, mas apresentaram queda no GPS entre 2013 e 2018.
