| dc.description | Esta pesquisa, situada no campo da história da educação, lançou seu olhar para os saberes da Mata do Engenho Uchôa (Recife/PE) no marco temporal que teve início em 1979 até os dias atuais. A hipótese trabalhada foi a de que os saberes que circulam no cotidiano dos sujeitos em sua relação com a mata constituem uma variedade de estratégias e táticas (CERTEAU, 1998) que a mantém relativamente preservada e conservada em suas diversas dimensões até os dias atuais. A questão central procurou responder a seguinte pergunta: Que saberes circulam no cotidiano dos sujeitos em sua relação com a Mata do Engenho Uchôa? Esta questão se desdobrou noutras mais específicas: O quê nos revela o estado da arte sobre a mata? Que características e trajetórias identificam a mata ao longo de sua história? O quê os saberes da mata nos revelam? O objetivo geral buscou conhecer os saberes da mata, enquanto que os específicos foram: a) construir o estado da arte das pesquisas que tem a mata como campo de investigação; b) descrever as características da mata; c) registrar a trajetória da mata enquanto terras do Engenho Uchôa, até a sua transformação numa APA; e d) registrar as diferentes estratégias e táticas, constitutivas dos saberes da mata. A história oral enquanto método foi prioritária na coleta de dados. A tese evidenciou, à luz dos escritos de Certeau (1998), que os saberes da mata são do tipo estratégicos e táticos, manifestados por meio da cultura tradicional & popular, do movimento ecológico e da presença do sagrado na mata. | |
| dc.description | This research, located in the field of the history of education, looked to the knowledge of the Mata do Engenho Uchôa (Recife / PE) in the temporary framework that began in 1979 until the present day. The hypothesis worked out is that the knowledge circulating in the daily life of the subjects in their relationship with the forest constitute a variety of strategies and tactics (CERTEAU, 1998) that maintains it relatively preserved and conserved in its various dimensions up to the present day. The central question sought to answer the following question: What knowledge circulates in the daily life of the subjects in their relationship with the Mata do Engenho Uchôa? This issue has developed into more specific ones: What does the state of the art tell us about the forest? What characteristics and trajectories identify the forest throughout its history? What do the knowledge of the forest tell us? The general objective was to know the knowledge of the forest, while the specific ones were: a) to build the state of the art of research that has the forest as a field of research; b) describe the characteristics of the forest; c) to record the trajectory of the forest as lands of Engenho Uchôa, until its transformation into an APA; and d) to record the different strategies and tactics that constitute the knowledge of the forest. The oral history as a method was a priority in the collection. In the light of the writings of Certeau (1998), the thesis evidenced that the knowledge of the forest is of the strategic and tactical type manifested through the traditional & popular culture, the ecological movement and the presence of the sacred in the forest. | |
