| dc.description | In order to respond to the socio-environmental constraints (im)posed by the Anthropocene and through the “arts of attentiveness” of multispecies studies, we seek to slow down before the ruin of the old Jaguaré bridge that crosses the Pinheiros River, in the city of São Paulo. From this hesitation, we borrowed two concepts: the first, worked by Donna Haraway, which refers to responsiveness skills (response-ability) and the second, worked by anthropologist Anna Tsing, which refers to liveability. We proposed to tangle them and rearrange them in order to produce a third concept: the response-live-ability, that is, the capacity of the habitability to cultivate possible responses to emerging issues in the time of catastrophes. The hypothesis is that the resurgence of the ruins of the old Jaguaré bridge guard and cultivate responses, through multispecies habitability, to the vestiges of industrial infrastructure posed by the productive demands of the city of São Paulo. | en-US |
| dc.description | Com o intuito de responder aos constrangimentos socioambientais (im)postos pelo Antropoceno e por meio das “artes de atentividade” dos estudos multiespécies, procuramos desacelerar diante da ruína da antiga ponte do Jaguaré que transpõe o rio Pinheiros, na cidade de São Paulo. A partir dessa hesitação, tomamos emprestado dois conceitos: o primeiro, trabalhado por Donna Haraway, que se refere às habilidades de resposta (response-ability) e o segundo, trabalhado pela antropóloga Anna Tsing, que se refere às habitabilidades (liveability). Propusemos emaranhá-los e rearranjálos de maneira a produzir um terceiro conceito: as habitabilidades de resposta (responslive-ability), isto é, a capacidade das habitabilidades cultivarem respostas possíveis às questões emergentes no tempo das catástrofes. A hipótese é de que as ressurgências das ruínas da antiga ponte do Jaguaré guardem e cultivem respostas, através das habitabilidades multiespécies, para os vestígios de infraestruturas industriais postas pelas exigências produtivas da cidade de São Paulo. | pt-BR |
