The article discusses the teacher dynamics faced by teachers in the public school system of the Federal District. The text analyzes the remote work with its various characteristics and its impact on the students’ learning. The objective is to understand how these professionals have organized their pedagogical activities in the face of adversities imposed by the new Coronavirus. The methodology used consists of documentary analysis, bibliographic readings and production of empirical information acquired through semistructured interviews. It was concluded that the reality imposed by the pandemic showed the digital weaknesses of teachers and students, the precarious technological conditions of the public school system, the need to resignify the school place before the technical-scientificinformational world and, finally, it was understood that remote teaching affected the learning process of students from public remote teaching affected the learning process of students from public schools in the Federal District.O artigo apresenta uma discussão a respeito da dinâmica docente enfrentada pelos professores da rede pública de ensino do Distrito Federal. Analisou-se o trabalho remoto com as suas diversas características e o seu impacto na aprendizagem dos discentes. O objetivo é compreender como esses profissionais têm organizado suas atividades pedagógicas diante das adversidades impostas pelo novo Coronavírus. A metodologia utilizada se constitui de análise documental, leituras bibliográficas e produção de informações empíricas adquiridas por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Concluiu-se que a realidade imposta pela pandemia mostrou que há fragilidades com o uso das tecnologias digitais por parte dos docentes e discentes, bem como a precariedade nas condições tecnológicas da rede pública de ensino. Além disso notase também necessidade de se ressignificar o lugar escola diante do mundo técnicocientífico- informacional e, por fim, entendeu-se que o ensino remoto afetou o processo de aprendizagem dos estudantes das escolas públicas do Distrito Federal.
