| dc.description | This article presents an analysis of the contributions of Argentine art critic Jorge Romero Brest to the Brazilian artistic scene, establishing political and cultural approaches between Brazil and Argentina. The importance of the Revista Argentina Ver y Estimar as a vehicle for the diffusion of avant-garde ideas and the performance of a specialized art critic in Brazil, such as that of Antonio Bento de Araújo Lima and Sérgio Milliet, in the process of disseminating abstract art as universal flow.
