| dc.description | With the advent of globalization, Latin America society experiences the failure of the sociopolitical matrix of the dominant national-popular state during 1930 to 1970, which in turn modifies the forms of collective action and identification and, with this, the dominant national identity, leading to the emergence of new categories of membership that enable the construction of new cultural identities like gender identity. It is precisely at this stage where this article will review and analyze, from a theoretical level, the role and impact that the globalization process has had on the emergence of new cultural identities, from the creation of new lines of collective actions and identification, with particular emphasis on the review of gender identity, considering the importance and vital need to strengthen the studies about this subject , in order to give a thorough treatment that allows the possibility of opening new spaces of integration that lead to a diverse and tolerant Latin American Society. | en-US |
| dc.description | Con la irrupción del proceso de globalización, la sociedad latinoamericana vive la desestructuración de la matriz sociopolítica de Estado nacional-popular dominante durante la década de 1930 a 1970, lo que a su vez modifica las formas de acción colectiva e identificación y, con esto, la identidad nacional imperante, dando paso al surgimiento de nuevas categorías de pertenencia que posibilitan la construcción de nuevas identidades culturales, como la identidad de género. Es precisamente en este escenario, en donde el presente artículo revisará y analizará, desde un nivel teórico, el rol e impacto que el proceso de globalización ha tenido en el surgimiento de nuevas identidades culturales, a partir de la conformación de nuevos ejes de acción colectiva e identificación, poniendo especial énfasis en la revisión de la identidad de género, planteando así la importancia y la vital necesidad de reforzar los estudios sobre este, con la finalidad de darle un tratamiento en profundidad que posibilite abrir nuevos espacios de integración que lleven a una sociedad latinoamericana diversa y tolerante de las diferencias. | es-ES |
