| dc.description | The following paper analyzes how queer politics have been materialized in Chile after the dictatorship through the reflection upon the relationship between queer politics and capitalism. I use the concept of capitalism as defined by Deleuze and Guattari: capitalism as semiotization, revealing how formations of power influence the construction of bodies, gender and desire. Then I review queer theory in Foucault, Butler and Preciado, then I establish that the latter two elaborate subversive strategies and reappropriation of gender, unlike Foucault. He chooses to become the resistance from the standpoint of the aesthetics of pleasures. Lastly, I investigate the practice of queer politics in Chile after the dictatorship as processes of cultural emergence in a Williamsian sense. At the same time these processes can be viewed as molecular revolutions, which may be called to be articulated into "classic" or molar battles. | en-US |
| dc.description | El siguiente texto pretende reflexionar sobre las políticas queer y su relación con el capitalismo, con el objeto de analizar su materialización en el Chile postdictatorial. Para ello tomo la conceptualización que hace Deleuze y Guattari del capitalismo en tanto régimen de semiotización, visualizando cómo inscribe formaciones de poder que inciden en la construcción del cuerpo, el género y el deseo. Luego repaso la teoría queer en Foucault, Butler y Preciado, para establecer cómo estas dos últimas elaboran estrategias de subversión y reapropiación del género, a diferencia de Foucault, quien opta por la resistencia desde una estética de los placeres. Finalmente, indago en la puesta en práctica de políticas queer en el Chile postdictatorial, como procesos de emergencia cultural en un sentido williamsiano, y a su vez como revoluciones moleculares, llamadas a articularse con las luchas "clásicas" o molares. | es-ES |
