dc.description	The appearance of new technologies over the Chilean pedagogic field and the consolidation of a culture that emphasizes images and virtual things, make possible a revolution on the way of reading, making also possible the generation of changes on the ways of learning and teaching. In this context, this article analyzes on a critical and theoretical level the social constructs that have repercussion on the configuration of new ways of reading and learning from the new communication technologies. In order to understand this changes we take as study segment secondary and university students, in which the cultural use of computer networks and new technologies is a fact that invites to think about the repercussions that this phenomenon could have over education and the access to knowledge and ways of learning.	en-US
dc.description	La irrupción de las nuevas tecnologías en el campo pedagógico chileno y la instalación de una cultura que enfatiza la imagen y lo virtual, abren la posibilidad de una revolución en las formas de leer, apelando a su vez a generar cambios en los modos de aprendizaje y enseñanza. En este contexto, este artículo analizará, en un nivel crítico y teórico, los constructos sociales que repercuten en la configuración de nuevas formas de leer y aprender a partir de las nuevas tecnologías de la comunicación. Se toma como segmento de interés a los jóvenes para comprender estos cambios, pues en ellos el consumo cultural de redes informáticas y nuevas tecnologías es un hecho dado, que invita a reflexionar sobre las implicancias que este fenómeno podría tener en la educación y en los modos de aprender y acceder al conocimiento.	es-ES
