dc.description	In this article we discuss three specific pieces from the work of the Guatemalan weaver Hellen Ascoli, belonging to the exhibition Cien Tierras (2020). It will be exhibited and analyzed throughout the text with special attention to the relationship with concepts as performance, presence and time, and how these appear linked to the artist’s practice. Our hypothesis to develop is that these three textile pieces/installations made by Hellen Ascoli tension and rethink the notions of presence and temporality through a performative matrix of understanding the production and reception of textiles.	en-US
dc.description	Discutiremos en torno a tres piezas puntuales de la obra de la tejedora guatemalteca Hellen Ascoli pertenecientes a la exposición Cien Tierras (2020), las cuales serán exhibidas y analizadas a lo largo del texto con especial atención a su relación con los conceptos de performance, presencia y tiempo, y cómo estos aparecen vinculados a la práctica de la artista. Nuestra hipótesis a desarrollar es que las tres piezas/instalaciones textiles de Hellen Ascoli que aquí se presentan tensionan y replantean las nociones de presencia y temporalidad mediante una matriz performativa de entender la producción y recepción del textil.	es-ES
