dc.description	The article analyzes the relationship between Chicha music style and the popular culture expressions.Through those topics is possible to get many metaphoric transactions. They proposea liberator status sets in the Latin-American Ethos and traditional female identity. This reflectiondescribes the Chicha phenomenon and its popular imaginary where it's settled: Territory, topics,sceneries and the diversity of meaning of women's presence. This analyze is realized from videosupload in YouTube website. In this matter, Internet is a mediator from Chicha imaginary and itsnew public -in special females- who are able to access it.	en-US
dc.description	El artículo analiza las relaciones entre el estilo musical Chicha y las expresiones de la culturapopular. Mediante ambos es posible detectar algunas transacciones metafóricas que proponen un estatus liberador a latradicional identidad femenina, asentada en el Ethos latinoamericano. La reflexión describeel fenómeno Chicha y el imaginario popular en el que se instala: territorio, temas, escenariosy la presencia de la mujer en diversas significaciones. El análisis se realiza desde una muestrade videos instalados en YouTube. En este punto, Internet se establece como una instanciamediadora entre el imaginario Chicha y el nuevo público -especialmente femenino- que hoytiene acceso a él.	es-ES
