dc.description	This article analyses the Chilean society from 1990 to present, describing it as an advanced neoliberal society. The constitution of this type of society has been due to the political action of the capitalist re-structuration made by the military dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet as well as to the policies applied by the democratic governments (1990-2007), which have deepened, widened and consolidated neoliberalism in Chile. One of the main consequences of this historical and political action of more than 30 years has been the constitution of a new citizenship.	en-US
dc.description	El presente artículo analiza la sociedad chilena desde 1990 hasta la actualidad caracterizándola como una sociedad neoliberal avanzada. La constitución de este tipo de sociedad ha sido producto tanto de la acción política de la re-estructuración capitalista realizada por la dictadura militar del General Augusto Pinochet como por las políticas desplegadas por los gobiernos democráticos (1990-2007) que han profundizado, ampliado y consolidado el neoliberalismo en Chile. Una de las principales consecuencias de esta acción política e histórica de más de 30 años ha sido la constitución de nueva ciudadanía.	es-ES
