dc.description	The study of textiles from the social sciences or art can have multiple approaches depending on the research objectives: materials and measures, techniques of obtaining materials and processing, immersed economic processes, production conditions, social and ritual processes, and commerce. This article explores the importance of the relationship between women and the embroidery of a female textile called dhayemlaab, for the Teenek cultural constitution in Huasteca Potosina. Based on ethnographic data, the paper presents an anthropological interpretation of how this textile, its embroidery, and its permanence are a garment of cultural resistance since it narrates in its designs the historical and cultural existence of the Teenek from Huasteca. These elements allow to understand how women embody the world by embroidering and carrying the dhayemlaab that covers their torso.	en-US
dc.description	El estudio de los textiles, desde las ciencias sociales o el arte, puede tener múltiples focos de atención, dependiendo de los objetivos de investigación: materiales y medidas, técnicas de obtención de materiales y de elaboración, procesos económicos inmersos, condiciones de producción, procesos sociales, rituales y de comercio. Este artículo explora la importancia de la relación entre las mujeres y el bordado de un textil femenino llamado dhayemlaab, para la constitución cultural teenek en la Huasteca potosina. Con base en datos provenientes de la etnografía, se presenta una interpretación antropológica sobre cómo este textil –su bordado y su permanencia– es una prenda de resistencia cultural, pues narra, en sus diseños, la existencia histórica y cultural teenek de la Huasteca, elementos que permiten plantear cómo las mujeres encarnan el mundo al bordar y portar el dhayemlaab que cubre su torso.	es-ES
