dc.description	The purpose of this paper is to explore the politics of memory and the public uses of history in the context of the bicentennial of independence in Colombia. It proposes a double balance. On the one hand, the rituals: those celebrations and commemorative projects, both official and dissident, who were held to mark the 200 years of “independence” from Colombia. In the other hand, the documents: books, articles, documentaries and other intellectual and artistic production that has been addressed to reflect on the bicentennial celebrations in Colombia and Latin America.	en-US
dc.description	El propósito del artículo es explorar las políticas de la memoria y los usos públicos de la historia en el contexto de la celebración del bicentenario de independencia en Colombia. Para ello, propone un doble balance. Por un lado, el de los rituales: aquellos festejos y proyectos conmemorativos, tanto oficiales como disidentes, que se realizaron con motivo de los 200 años de “independencia” de Colombia. Por otro, el de los documentos: libros, artículos, documentales y otro tipo de producción intelectual y artística, que se han ocupado de reflexionar en torno a las conmemoraciones bicentenarias en Colombia y América Latina.	es-ES
