| dc.description | Pierre Rosanvallon is actually one of the most stimulating French thinkers. He is professor of the College of France, his reflection illuminates a deep research space: the democracy as modern political order, the State personalities, the universal vote and the citizen rising as a democracy figure. All these topics share a worry: the interest to undertaking the political and not the politic as a research object. The study of the political is not then a research of the political ideas or their material demonstration. There is a need to undertake the political, would say Rosanvallon, not as an exterior totality, not depending from their actors actions but as a framework in which the representations and their material reality, their products themselves are intersected and juxtaposed. This interview reveals some aspects of the thought of this author and, by the way, offers an idea of the complex view of the French historiography today. | en-US |

Profesor del College de France, sus reflexiones iluminan un vasto campo de indagación: la democracia como orden político moderno, las figuras del Estado, el sufragio universal y la emergencia del ciudadano como figura de la democracia. Todos estos temas comparten una preocupación: el interés por abordar lo político y lo la política como objeto de indagación, y la mirada histórica como condición para su entera comprensión. El estudio de lo político no es entonces ni una indagación por las ideas políticas ni por sus manifestaciones materiales. Hay que abordar lo político, diría Rosanvallon, no como una globalidad exterior, independiente de las acciones de los actores, sino más bien como un entramado en el que las representaciones y su realidad material, sus productos, se intersecan, se yuxtaponen. Esta entrevista revela algunos aspectos del pensamiento del autor y, de paso, ofrece una idea del complejo panorama de la historiografía francesa hoy en día. | es-ES |
